We're open Monday – Saturday 9am to 8pm and 11am to 6pm on Sundays.

7. Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes, after you complete and submit the Driveo form, you'll receive an email containing our quote.

If you like our number, you have 30 days to make an appointment to come in to our Driveo location to meet with a Driveo team member. You come in, sell your car, get a check from us and we'll even give a ride to anywhere in San Diego County.

8. What should I bring to my appointment?

  • All keys and remotes to the car
  • Service records, if you've got them
  • Current registration and title, if available
  • Driver's license or valid ID

9. My car is not paid off; will you still buy it?

Yes! We will call your lender to verify a 10-day payoff amount, then we'll send a payment directly to your lender to pay off the car and we hand you a check in the amount of the difference.

10. I don't have the title for my car, will Driveo still buy it?

Yes! If you're the legal owner of the car you're selling, you don't need to apply for a new one before bringing it to us.

Questions About Getting Your Quote

1. Will I be charged to use your service?

No way! Our service is absolutely free and you have no obligation to sell to us if you don't like our quote.

2. Can you come to me appraise my car after I receive my quote?

No, but because we've made our process almost completely online based, you only have to come in to Driveo to complete the transaction.

Though there are a number of logistical reasons for why we appraise from at our location, the most important reason is the need to complete a thorough inspection in order to give you full credit for your car. Additionally, providing the appraisal from our location allows us to reduce cost and, in turn, give you more cash for your ride.

We do provide a complimentary ride back to anywhere in San Diego County, giving you one less thing to worry about!

3. How long will it take to get my quote?

Our online process means you'll usually get your quote within the hour. Though you receive our quote quickly, it's in no way automated. A Driveo team member will do the homework to get you the best quote possible.

4. I submitted my form, what now?

After you submit your form, you'll receive an email containing our quote. That email will also show you the trade-in value you might receive at a traditional dealer trade-in as well as the amount your might get if you sell your car on your own.

If you like our number, you have 30 days to make an appointment to come in to our Driveo location to meet with a Driveo team member. You come in, sell your car, get a check from us and we'll even give a ride to anywhere in San Diego County.

If you're still set on a trade-in and your dealership gives you a lesser offer, feel free to bring the car to us for the amount we quoted you.

5. What happens if I've let my quote expire?

The market changes all the time and so do the value of vehicles, this is why our quote is valid for 30 days. If you still want to sell your car after 30 days, we may need to update the quote to reflect the current market. We will also need to reflect any changes to the vehicles conditions, such as mileage.

6. What kind of quote should I expect?

Most of our customers end up with at least $1,000 more than they would receive in a standard dealer-offer. Our goal is to offer you a for and reasonable price for your car, because that's what you deserve. 2. Will my offer change once I'm at Driveo?

In some cases, we may need to adjust the offer to reflect any discrepancies found when you bring the car in. This means we'll raise the offer for any awesome features you didn't mention or lower it if the car isn't in the condition described in your initial online form.
