# Driveo Appointments

> When you're ready to sell, schedule an appointment at your local drop-off location. Here's what to bring, what to expect, and tips to make your visit quick and easy.

## What to Bring to Your Appointment

- **Driver's license or other ID** — A form of identification with your picture
- **Registration** — Helps quickly verify vehicle information and makes the process smoother
- **Title (if available)** — If you can't find it or your lender has it, no problem — Driveo can still buy your car
- **All keys and remotes** — Including extra keys, valet keys, and any remotes that belong to the car
- **Service records** — Records of service appointments or repairs done on the car

If your car is not paid off, please also have your lender information available.

## Tips to Make Your Visit Even Easier

- Remove all personal items from your car — don't forget parking permits, decals, and garage openers
- No need to wash or detail the car — Driveo will handle that
- Car not paid off? Have the payoff information ready. Driveo sends payment to your lender and gives you the difference. Any negative equity or remaining financial obligations should be paid at the time of sale in order to send a full payoff to the lender.
- All legal owners must be present — contact Driveo if you are not sure whether all owners are necessary

## What to Expect at Your Appointment

The inspection typically takes about 30 minutes.

1. An appraiser verifies the information you provided, including a brief inspection and possibly a test drive
2. The initial quote may be fine-tuned based on inspection results — it may go up for features you forgot to mention, or be adjusted down if discrepancies are found
3. Initial quotes are manually prepared and often align closely with final offers
4. If you accept the offer, Driveo handles all paperwork and payment on the spot
5. Not ready to sell? No pressure — take your time and consider the offer when you're ready
6. Need a ride? A complimentary local ride (such as Uber or Lyft) is typically provided after the sale

## Appointment FAQs

**Q: Will my offer change after inspection?**
A: In some cases, the offer may be adjusted to reflect what's found during inspection. Features you didn't mention may raise the offer; discrepancies may lower it.

**Q: Will I need to deal with paperwork?**
A: No. Driveo handles all paperwork and securely releases liability in the car you sell. You have zero interaction with the DMV.

**Q: My car isn't paid off — what should I bring?**
A: Have your lender information available, plus the standard items: all keys and remotes, service records, registration, title (if available), and your ID.
